I would like to start taking my two horses and possibly one of my children out on the trails and meet friends. In response to those without horses: May be willing to sponsor 1 or both Sundays-Thursdays to the right person(s)????? Concord area
Walk, some trot & canter. Easy trails best, little-no vehicle traffic. I've ridden the MJHA trails & watershed in Moraga/Canyon & Briones from Lafayette & Martinez, I also rode the MHA trails in the Canyon-Oakland hills, golden gate trails & beach
I usually ride in the pasture btwn Ygnacio Valley & Treat WC-Concord border not real exiting but it's fenced & a good place 4 a greenie, the horse campgrounds on Diablo, stayed overnight & the Castle Rock trails & we trailered & swam @ Lake Almanor.
1) No. 2) Doesn't like going straight down steep hills prefers to traverse.
Fridays and Saturdays or vacation days and some holidays, Friday ams are adult time as the kids are in school, the rest of the time I might have a teen in tow.
Yes....and I won't wear shorts or tennis shoes like in my posted picture either....I had led my nieces and nephew and various relatives on mini trail rides before Tucker and I headed to the stream for a break and some water play.
Its a nice way to meet new people and have the support of other equestrians should you need help.
