A rare opportunity for trail users of all types to get together and celebrate the beautiful open spaces of the East Bay, and get to know each other better. Celebrate what we all have in common, a deep abiding love for trails and the outdoors.

Sharing trails is the essence of our message. Join in on a guided hike, bike ride or horseback ride, followed by a barbecue lunch and gathering. Hike or ride, 10 a.m., lunch 1 p.m. Please rsvp to (510) 544-2631 before May 27.

Be ready to ride at 10:00 a.m.

EBATC has asked that we get as many horses there as possible! Please come, free parking and free lunch, what else could you ask for!

Wish I could ride tomorrow - I did this ride last year and Fancy and I had a great time! Great opportunity to connect with other trail users.

Who attended?

  • 2 attendees
    •  A total of approximately 40 folks attended the ride and picnic. 21 of those were equestrians! We had a great ride through Abrigo Valley and up to Briones Ridge and back down on Old Briones Road trail. All the horses did great with the bicylists and hikers and everyone said they had a good time. The weather was perfect, and the company and food was great. It was a perfect opportunity for the various trail user types to meet, mingle, and discuss trail usage, etc. Thanks to EBATC and EBRPD for sponsoring the event!
    •  There were about 15 horses and quite a few bicycles, walkers and even some unicyclers. You should have seen them go up the hills. Quite something to see. The weather was absolutely perfect and after the ride etc. we had a great lunch. Believe it or not there were salmon patties and brownies. What more could you ask for? There were no mishaps and everybody really enjoyed each others company.
