Hello and Welcome!
MEETUPS ARE BEING SCHEDULED - CHECK CALENDAR OR SCROLL DOWN TO FIND OUT WHEN.
The Benson J-Six Horse Meetup wants to encourage locals to get together and ride.
We are lucky in this area to have many shows/events to go to, but it can be difficult to find a riding buddy, especially for those who have to work on certain weekends. This group has been created in the hopes of making that easier.
****Trail Ratings****
Easy- for beginners- flat conditions, some gates to open, no major elevation changes.
Moderate- same as easy plus, rocky trails, with greater elevation changes, i.e. steeper washes/hills, may have water to cross.
Difficult- same as moderate plus, major elevation changes, even steeper washes, hills and canyons. Require experienced trail riders and horses with good conditioning.
Very Difficult- Only for EXPERIENCED TRAIL RIDERS & HORSES. Extremely steep, rocky, narrow trails, large water crossings, and deep canyons.

Easy to moderate(may have water to cross) ride 2-3 hours. Beautiful country with rock formations. Lovely trees and more.
Road can be difficult to get in during rains. Several sandy creek beds to cross in your vehicle.
I have room for 2 horses in my trailer. (Horse/rider needing a lift closest to my location and paved roads will get preference. )

New Greeting for“ Hi Susan, I work a lot of weekends too. The next few weeks are really hectic for me, but I hope to be able to join you on a ride soon. Especially if you are going past my place on Hwy 80 and I can get a horse trailered! Our truck is out of commission.
