Introduction: Howdy! I have enjoyed meeting other folks who like to trail ride in the greater Tucson area.
Please tell us a little about YOU away from horses.: I live on the far eastside with my husband. Our kids are long gone (grad school). We are both from Tucson, and are pretty laid back. Hubby hasn't ridden with me since we married 30+ years ago, but he does pay all the bills.
How did you here about The Tucson Horse Meetup Group?: Craig's list
What discipline do you ride?: The usuals: working ranch and gymkanas as a kid, roping, then active showing as an adult, now mostly trail riding.
Tell us about your horse/horses if you have any.: I currently have four horses: an Arabian mare (Crabbet-country english pleasure), an Arabian gelding (Crabbet-halter horse 1st, then hunter); a half Arabian pinto gelding (my western horse), and his dam, my retired piebald Paint.
What do you hope to get from this group?: Great rides and new friends who enjoy getting out to ride!
